Karima (front) was bred to Nick (*B Jesta Farm Nick of Time) and Sitara (back) was bred to Oblivion (Saada Royal Oblivion), who looks a lot like our Lucky. I guess I'm not done with goats yet! They were bred on or about November 4, so babies are due around April 4.

More goats
Well, just about two months after selling our goats, we have been blessed with more. These two are Summer's babies from June 2008, so they are about 2-1/2 years old. The person who had bought them was no longer able to keep them, and asked us to take them back. They are wonderfully personable, although after only a couple of days they're still a little taken aback at their change in circumstances and wondering who the heck I am. They have been bred to two great bucks from Deborah Goodwin Potter's Hollow Tree Hill Farm.

caroline-
You were my very first blog to read. I came to you because I was reading about alpacas. How are your alpacas? how many do you have now?
I can't wait to see the babies from these two! They are so pretty and my boys are both so very handsome....
Nick has really matured a lot this winter. I was just noticing this am how his rump is flattening out, His back is longer and he's really gained some heighth.
Received your note but had lost you email address. Thank You!
Good Luck with the girls,
Deb
http://roostershamblin.wordpress.com/ would you please spend a few minutes of your time reading my blog about all things chicken. I have been raising more than 50 breeds of chickens 40 years.
The goats are beautiful! It will be great to see some babies! I miss our goats. Glad I found your blog.
I remember pulling feathers when I was a kid. Getting chicken ready for dinner is a lot of work, but that chicken tastes so good.
So glad you responded to my blog because it led me to yours. We kind of have an urban farm and hope to buy a mini farm when we retire. I will watch your blog. Just yesterday we decided we will probably have goats.
